Learners also build confidence in identifying risks, recognising when a child may need support, and following workplace policies appropriately.

Apprentices learn how to promote equality, diversity, inclusion, and respect for each child’s background, culture, and individual needs. They also explore how to support children with SEND and work in partnership with families and professionals.
